  I purchased 2 Melvin dining chairs at the Aspley store at a cost of $798.00 The display chairs were very comfortable and perfect for my wife who has arthritis. Two chairs were delivered and within 3 weeks the seat of one of the chairs has sunk and is visibly sagging. Nic Scarli service person visited today, looked at the chairs and said that this happens due to variations in quality of the foam seat padding; he said sorry but nothing he can do about it. He also said that if I am not satisfied with that, I should contact the Aspley store. I rang the Aspley store phone number and was directed to customer service centre. After a long discussion, the service centre person said that she would talk to the Aspley store and organise a time that I may take the chairs to the store. This person committed to phone me back within the hour. 3 hours later and I have had no return call. I do not recommend that anyone should purchase anything from Nic Scarli furniture stores.

  I wish we would have read some reviews before purchasing from this company. Whilst I normally restrain from public commentary, in this case sharing our experience could save someone from the incredible frustartion that is Nick Scali.
  
  Whilst the retail people are excellent, the overall experience is devastating. We ordered multiple items. Everything was delayed. Two couches arrived damaged. They failed to deliver goods & took them back to warehouse and then for 3 weeks we did not hear from them until we chased them up. When problems occur, you are redirected to an off-shore support centre who will not put you in contact with people in Australia. You spend hours on hold and still don't get anything resolved.
  
  Their store people are not able to assist in solving problems and most reflect their frustration of the problems they encounter daily as Nick Scali's back end of the company has no respect for customers and certainly has no concept of service. Even their delivery people have only bad things to say about this company. Sadly they also own Plush and we encounted the same problems with them, so stay away from both of these companies and save yourself hours of dramas.

  Very happy with the customer service and delivery of furniture. We have had to wait to get our furniture but it was worth the wait. The furniture is of quality and unique designs.

  Can't speak for the quality of the couches because we didn't buy, but every couch we tried was very comfy.
  The salesman we had was extremely pushy, even after we'd said multiple times we just wanted to look around and we'd find him if we needed questions. I'm sure some people like when salespeople are very hands on, but for us, it was a major turn off.

  Nice store, friendly but not persistent staff. Gave us Easter eggs in February. Nice couches, but not a huge variety (lots of similar themes), and pretty expensive.

  Disgusting service and underhanded tactics. Payed for lounge and ottoman in full on day of purchase, accepted 8 week wait. 12 weeks later and many unreturned phone calls, no delivery. Re-attended Aspley store, told no product on shore, still waiting for container arrival. I asked for refund of money and mysteriously they found my lounge and ottoman hidden away at warehouse. Item was delivered, didn't look the same colour, looked quite faded compared to store sample. The cushioning on the lounge also felt used, which caused gathering in the material which looked really poor. Made a service request, once again was forced to revisit store as no-one turned up on the day of appointment. Was told serviceman turned up, just not in the agreed appointment window, as he was ahead if time that day. After much arguing, they agreed to send serviceman back at agreed time. Serviceman agreed cushioning was poor and refilled with extra cushion, then took photos of what he thought was discoloration in material. Several months past, no response from company, forced to make another service call. Serviceman arrived at correct time, but then told me discoloration was due to sun coming in our uncovered window....really!!!?? After one week??? At this point I realized this was going nowhere and felt it was best to just suck it up and cop the loss. I will never ever buy anything from this dodgy company again, I suggest to everyone to avoid the heartache no matter how nice their products look, it's all smoke and mirrors.
